Example:
You weigh 130 lbs.
You + pet = 150 lbs.
Pet’s weight = 20 lbs.

Start at the pet's neck and measure around. Keep your pets' measurements written down in a notebook for later reference.
Continue to measure your pet from the base of their neck down to where their tail starts. That measures the thickest section of their chest around.
If your cat or dog measures between sizes, it's best to choose the largest size
